Team Incentives

Two Incentive Programs described below:  Team Incentive and Performance Incentive.

Team Incentive Purpose:

  • To have more individual and team Chip participating in both PA-USATF series and Buzz Oates RunSac series races. 
  • Promote the club by being more visible.
  • Earn team award money for the club.


The Rules:

  • Be a current Chip member.
  • Run a total of any 5 or more races from the list of 40 incentive race choices wearing your Buffalo Chips singlet, a fun mix of road, x-country and trail races!
  • OR –

Volunteer at 5 or more events the Chips support from the list below:

Jed Smith
AR50
4th of July
Susan B Anthony
Buffalo Stampede
Willow Hills XC
CIM
Parkway Half (if Chips have an Aid Station)

  •  OR –

Any combination of these, totaling 5 or more. Five is the magic number!

Team Incentive Award:

 Each runner who racks up the five or more required races or volunteering (in 2017) will be awarded one entry into a Buffalo Chips race of your choice in 2018. You decide what you want to run for free!

We will throw in the 4th of July race for free!

Performance Incentive:

Any Chip meeting the criteria in any single performance qualifies for a FREE club singlet.  The performance must be in a scheduled event with published results.  Please submit you request for this award (race name, date, location,  your time) to the Award Chair – buffalochipsclub@gmail.com.  Only one singlet can be earned every four years.  The Award Chair may allow or disallow any performance if the course distance or results are questionable.
