Stampede

The 40th Anniversary Buffalo Stampede will take place on Sunday, August 30, 2015.

About the Buffalo Stampede:

The Buffalo Stampede 10-Mile Run/Walk, the race that kicked off Sacramento’s road-racing tradition, has its 40th anniversary this year! We are celebrating with music, special prizes, finisher medals, and the commemorative 40th anniversary shirt! The certified and scenic course is part of the Buzz Oates RunSac Race Series and offers a $200 bonus prize for breaking the course records. As the sister race to the Urban Cow Half Marathon, the Buffalo Stampede is the perfect training distance for this great event, and for your other fall half-marathons.  So don’t miss out!  It is one of the five events the Buffalo Chips Running Club sponsors each year, including the Free Fourth of July Five Mile Run in River Park, to encourage health and fitness in the community, and celebrate runners and walkers of all ages and levels.

Congratulations to all of our runners!
